Like most people, we were principally concerned about our contractor performing high quality work and not leaving us with a lot of headaches. First Place was top notch in every way. They did great work, were very approachable and the job was completed quickly and without any concerns. They took great care in not disrupting our home while they were here. They also took care of a lot of small details - went above and beyond what was required in our opinion. To summarize, Jim and his team did a fantastic job and exceeded our expectations. I had two bathrooms and the closets in my house renovated in 2007 by First Place Renovations. I highly recommend their services. The preliminary discussions were detailed and very useful and adequate time was allotted to come up with a suitable plan. The costing was carefully spelled out and there were no surprises during the work. Once work was scheduled, the time estimates were laid out and held to. Knowing that the crew would arrive on site when Jim said they would removed a lot of the stress that could have arisen during the renovation. The work was done with great care and attention to detail. Whenever I had any concerns or when hitches arouse during the course of the work, Jim was always available to discuss, at any length needed, the problems and make suggestions as to design, materials and material sourcing. He clearly wanted me to like the finished product. I am very pleased with the results and the bathrooms are beautiful.
